Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of HeyJivan (“the Service”), operated by the HeyJivan team. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

Your account

• You log in with your email (or mobile number) and a one-time code. Keep access to it secure.
• You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.

The Service — what it is, and isn't

HeyJivan identifies plants and suggests care decisions tuned to your city's weather. Plant identification and care guidance are best-effort estimates, not guarantees. We show our confidence honestly and ask you to confirm uncertain identifications. The Service is not a substitute for professional horticultural or agricultural advice, and we are not liable for plant outcomes.

Payments

• Premium is a one-time purchase (lifetime access) billed via Razorpay — there is no recurring subscription and nothing auto-renews.
• Monthly plant food (the nutrient pack) is currently a free waitlist; we do not charge for it until physical delivery is live in your area.

Affiliate links

Some product recommendations are affiliate links; we may earn a commission on purchases at no extra cost to you. Recommendations are made on care relevance, and affiliate status is disclosed in the app.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse the Service, attempt to break or overload it, or upload unlawful content.
• Photos you upload must be yours to share.

Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from care decisions, plant health, or third-party providers. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the Service; material changes will be notified in-app. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of India having jurisdiction.
